dc.description.abstract Drilling is the most common machining process. One estimate is that 75% of all material removed comes drilling operations. Drilling involves the creation of holes that are right circular cylinders. This is accomplished most typically by using a twist drill, something most readers will have seen before. The figure below illustrates a cross section of a hole being cut by a common twist drill. Many vibration exposed workers have been found to suffer from muscle fatigue and decreased grip strength. Therefore in order to quantify and determine safe levels of human exposure to vibration, measurements and analysis of significance vibration factors are necessary. There are three main objectives in this study. During the planning and preparation of this report the authors had the advice of some people engineers, library assistants. en_US
