dc.description.abstract This Thesis is based on the speed control of DC motors. In the industrial area, rolling mills, chemical process, electric trains, robotic manipulators and the home electric appliances, the necessity of speed control of DC motor is high. At first, we used the convention PID controller to control the speed of a DC motor using DC-4 model. Later on, we used Fuzzy Logic based controller to match the speed with a reference one more efficiently. en_US
