In the automatic Capsule filling machine Vacuum is used to separate the cap and body of a capsule before inserting the formulation into the body part of the capsule. This Vacuum pump consumes a very high amount of power. My goal was to eliminate this vacuum pump from the Automatic capsule filling machine to decrease the net power consumption of this machine. If I eliminate the vacuum pump from the design then I have to rectify the caps and body separately before filling. That is why I have designed and built a rectifier which will rectify the body of a capsule before filling. My rectifier block can rectify one body at a time. Though it can successfully rectify bodies, but there remains an ample room for further development (for example-multiple rectifications at the same time, reducing the size and weight of the block, and speeding up the process) |
