Abstract:
We propose a system of surveillance robots to enhance security. where humans cannot safely record videos in critical conditions and environments, such as areas with poisonous gases or harmful radiation and places with an exchange of fire like battlefields. The mobile robot has critical components such as a camera, motor driver, motors, a DC-DC voltage regulator, batteries, and four movable wheels. The solution uses the AI Thinker ESP32-CAM module, which includes an ESP32-S CPU, an OV2640 camera. The HTTP communication protocol enables video streaming, allowing users to see live video feeds from the OV2640 camera using a web interface. The online interface features simple buttons for controlling the car's motions. The robotic vehicle is equipped with four DC motors, a robot chassis, and an L293D motor driver module to supplement the ESP32-CAM module. Signals broadcast from the user's smartphone or PC govern vehicle operation, while live streaming happens through the robot's camera, with data received by the user's smartphone or PC via the Wi-Fi wireless infrastructure.
