Abstract:
For as long as we remember the world source of energy evolved around fossil energy which are limited, expensive and above all are a source of danger to both mankind and its surrounding. This report main focus is to present an alternative source of energy to the Islamic university of technology, (IUT) in the hope of reducing not only the energy cost but mostly to reduce harmful substance into the environment.
This rapport in one hand gives an introduction of the study where there is the background of the study, the description of the different process involved, and we define the various components required to bring the study to a satisfactory end. In another hand this report present a daily estimation of the power consumption of south hall of residence of, (IUT). And finally, it consists of the derivation of the power equation of a wind turbine which we apply with the help of the various data found in the second part to find out the number of wind turbine would require to ensure the power supply of the south hall of residence of IUT.
