dc.description.abstract This thesis book intends to present the wave energy prospects of Bangladesh by displaying a Wave Energy Converter (WEC) prototype. The prototype is a variant of Point Absorber where the generator is a Permanent Magnet Linear Generator (PMLG). The generator is operated in a wave generation facility to investigate the outcomes. The generator parameters are thus frequently optimized using the facility. The generator outputs were recorded throughout to obtain a linear generator characteristic. This characteristic and design aspects are examined to propose a possible outcome and feasibility in the real scenario en_US
