Website for the national hajj committee of Cameroon

Abstract

This report describes the design and implementation of a management website for the National Hajj Committee of the Republic of Cameroon. It provides an online system where pilgrims can register for Hajj or Umra directly online thereby saving a lot of time and procedures for the pilgrims. It also provides management features for the National Hajj Committee where they can get the statistics of the present and past pilgrimages and then use these statistics in their decision making. Hajj operators also have a section dedicated to them on this system with features that enable them to easily handle and take care of pilgrims who have registered under them. Islamic education is also incorporated especially that related to the performance of Hajj and Umra. This system will benefit both the National Hajj Committee as well as the pilgrims. It helps save time for both parties as well as provides a national platform for the National Hajj Committee to easily perform its activities of preparing pilgrim to go for Hajj or Umra.
